Red Army FC’s u-13 captain receives a trophy from the organiser of the tournament, Steven ‘Bashin’ Molefe.

According to the organiser of the tournament, Steven ‘Bashin’ Molefe, they hope to produce soccer stars through this annual tournament.

“This tournament is not only about keeping young people busy during school holidays but soccer stars have to come out of this and put the township on the map. It is our primary objective to help these youngsters reach their goals and live their dream. Opportunity is very important and we hope soccer professionals use these types of tournaments to find talent. They can find real talent at our dusty soccer grounds,” said Molefe.

Molefe added the tournament was successful and all the teams were disciplined.

“We need business people or any individuals to support this tournament in the future to make it grow and attract more teams from far areas,” said Molefe.

Super Seven FC won the u-20 division.
