Bodybuilder paramedic selected for world champs in London

Stephan Henderson needs help with fees to get to world championships in London.

A passionate bodybuilder and ER24 paramedic needs your help to get to London for the world championships.

Stephan Henderson (25) has been passionate about fitness since 2009 when he started his bodybuilding journey. He attended school at Hoërskool Kempton Park and did a course in paramedics.

“I started in 2009 but I took bodybuilding seriously in January this year. My main aim was to make a difference and encourage people in police services,” said Henderson.

His personal trainer is Clyde de Klerk.

The Bonaero Park resident entered and won the International Fitness Body Building (IFBB) competition at Kaleideo Church in Glen Marais in July. He went on to win at provincials in August being part of the Physical Culture Association (PCA) in Durban.

Earlier this month he represented KwaZulu-Natal at the SAs, where he obtained his SA colours.

“I was very excited to win one competition after the other and now I have been selected to represent South Africa in Bellingham in London.”

Henderson needs to raise R30 000 to make it to the world championships and he needs your help.

“I want to make a change in people’s lives in every way I can. Whether it is fitness orientated or helping them as being a paramedic,” said Henderson.

“When I was a little boy, my current branch manager always told me to humble myself towards everyone and that is how I see myself.”
