Mixed bag of results for Avion Cricket Club

Players from Avion Cricket Club took part in several games over the weekend.

Avion’s U8 Kingham side faced Tsakane batting first to score 127/5 in 20 overs.

Tskane replied with 78/7 to hand Avion a 49-run win.

Avion U10 Impala side took on Old Bens at Kruin A.

Avion batted first and scored 100/3 in 15 overs.

Old Bens responded with 89/2 in their 15 overs for Avion to win by 11 runs.

Avion U12 Sibali went head-to-head against Kempton Park Cricket Club.

Avion won the toss and batted first, scoring 124/7 in 25 overs.

Kempton replied with 127/3 in just 16.4 overs.

Avion’s top batsmen for the game were Codey Sheehan with 37 runs and Zac Pillay with 24 runs.

Zac was also named the best bowler with two wickets for 36 runs in five overs.

Kempton won the match by seven wickets.
