Bootcampers sweating for a cause

The group's motto, Together we can make a difference, is a clear indication that each and every member takes cancer awareness very seriously.

The women who trains under local biokineticist Carmen Roberts decided to start Bootcamp 4 A Cause in support of Cansa’s Relay for Life event.

The group meets three times a week at Monument High School to train and they have entered the annual Cansa event as part of an awareness campaign for breast cancer.

The group’s motto, Together we can make a difference, is a clear indication that each and every member takes cancer awareness very seriously.

The Relay takes place this Friday at Monument High from 6pm. It continues until the next morning and is part of an international movement that unites cancer survivors and the communities that care about them. It offers everyone in a community, both young and old, the opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer and to honour those who have been affected by cancer. It is an opportunity for survivors and their loved ones to fight against cancer together.

Relay For Life is a fun, volunteer-driven and community-owned initiative. The Bootcamp team is very excited to be part of the initiatives and invites all those who want to make a difference to come and support the cause.
