Motorcyclist injured in crash at intersection in Noordheuwel

The extent of the motorcyclist's injuries is unknown.

A motorcyclist is currently being treated in a hospital after crashing into a vehicle at a busy intersection in Noordheuwel this afternoon, July 31.

According to eyewitness Tshidiso Modise Edwin, the driver of a hatchback was attempting to turn at the Robert Broom Drive and Van Oord Street intersection when the motorcyclist, who was travelling straight across, crashed into the side of the vehicle.

The damaged motorcycle following the crash. The biker had to be hospitalised.

The Krugersdorp News visited the accident scene and was informed that the driver of the vehicle had no serious injuries.

Another eyewitness said that the extent of the motorcyclist’s injuries is unknown.
