Dominique almost free after 50 hours in a cage for charity
Come and meet the woman who locked herself in a cage to help raise funds for 20 000 peanut butter and jam sandwiches.
With less than 18 hours remaining of Belly2Brains’ Change2Uncage campaign, Dominique Tibbles is nearing the end of her 50-hour stay in a cage at Cradlestone Mall.
Tibbles voluntarily locked herself in the cage to help raise enough money to make 20 000 peanut butter and jam sandwiches for those in need.

As of today, July 17, the campaign had raised R63 000 of its R110 000 target. She said the team is looking forward to preparing and distributing the sandwiches tomorrow, July 18.
Tibbles encouraged community members to make a donation and join the sandwich-making effort. Those who would like to help are asked to bring a wooden spoon.
