Less than 42 hours remain in Dominique’s 67-hour cage challenge

Belly2Brain has secured enough donations to buy bread, but still needs R52 000 to reach its goal of feeding 20 000 people.

Less than 42 hours remain in Dominique Tibbles’ 67-hour cage challenge at Cradlestone Mall as Belly2Brain continues its drive to raise enough funds to feed 20 000 people.

Dominique, founder of Belly2Brain, said she is still going strong after completing the first day of the challenge and has been overwhelmed by the public’s support.

“For the first day, people have been far more engaged than in previous years, and we have raised enough money to buy the bread,” she said.

Despite the encouraging response, the campaign still needs R52 000 to reach its fundraising target.

Tibbles encouraged shoppers and residents to visit the cage at Cradlestone Mall and make a donation to help Belly2Brain achieve its goal.
