Girl bitten after intervening in a school fight
A girl was bitten on the top of her left eye when she tried to stop her classmates from fighting.

A 16-year-old girl from a school in Kagiso was injured seriously on Thursday 10 October when she tried to stop two classmates from fighting.
Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya, a police spokesperson says that the two classmates allegedly fought in the classroom while there was no teacher present.
“As they manhandled each other, the girl tried to stop them. One of the two pupils (18) attacked her instead and bit her on the top of her left eye.”
He says she then fled the scene, leaving her schoolbag behind.
“The complainant was bleeding and taken to hospital for medical treatment.”
The Kagiso Police is investigating the motive for the attack and they are expecting to arrest the suspect soon as a case docket of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm have been opened at the station.
