Early childhood development gets rewarded

Play-With-A-Purpose held their annual prize giving.

Educational trust and non-profit organisation Play-With-A-Purpose that is known for the early childhood development work in the informal settlements surrounding Krugersdorp held their sixth annual national preschool awards dinner on Saturday 26 October at the YFCT Training Centre in Hekpoort.

The annual preschool awards was held to honour Play-With-A-Purpose’s social franchises across the country that implement the Play-With-A-Purpose Early Childhood unique brain-based methodology.

Play-With-A-Purpose Administrator Petra Sendef considers the evening a resounding success.

“We were happy to see that the event was well attended by principals, preschool owners and teachers,” she says.

Founder Robyn Wienand and Chairperson Priscilla Dengler of Play-With-A-Purpose presented the winners in various categories that contribute to excellent early childhood development with trophies.

The keynote speaker for the evening, Femi Adebanji of the Mind Advance institute inspired the ladies to reach for excellence in teaching young children.
