Festive fun at Maloneys Eye

Maloneys Eye Primary farm school celebrate Christmas early this year thanks to Maropeng.

Hot dogs, fizzy drinks and jumping castles were only some of the fun elements to an early Christmas party held for the pupils of Maloneys Eye Primary farm school in Magaliesburg on Tuesday 3 December.

Facilitated by Maropeng, the official visitors centre to the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site (COHWHS), the year end event is said to always be a day that staff and partners look forward to.

Each year a different school is nominated and this year Maropeng saw to the need support Maloneys Eye Primary farm school, a local farm school allocated in the rural parts of Krugersdorp.

Children were treated to festive snacks on the day and were also provided with a food parcel to take home afterwards.

“Over and above celebrating the festive season we also visited the school to commemorate a local educational facility and their achievement throughout the year,” concluded Maropeng managing director Tony Rubin.
