Man rapes friend’s ex-girlfriend
A woman opened a rape case against her ex-boyfriend'' friend who allegedly raped her.

Kagiso Police arrested a 29-year-old suspect on 7 March at about 2pm for allegedly raping his friend’s ex-girlfriend.
Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya, a police spokesperson says that it is alleged that on 7 March at about 1.30am the complainant was on her way home with her ex-boyfriend and his friend in the friend’s car.
“The two friends then decided that instead of taking the complainant home, they will be going to one of their homes.”
Upon arrival the complainant’s ex-boyfriend took the car keys and told her and his friend that he was going to Krugersdorp, and left them in his room.
“A few minutes later the suspect demanded to have sexual intercourse with the complainant, but she refused. He then started assaulting her until she succumbed to the pressure.”
The suspect allegedly undressed and started raping the complainant until late in the morning.
The complainant went to the police that same morning and reported the matter.
Sibiya says that the suspect was searched and arrested.
He made a brief appearance in the Kagiso Magistrates’ Court on 10 March and will remain in police custody until his next court appearance where he will be applying for bail.
