Supermarket robbed

The victim was forced at gunpoint to open the till.

On 23 March at approximately 4.20pm, a supermarket in Muldersdrift was targeted by robbers.

It is alleged that the 49-year-old employee was in the shop when five males entered, enquiring about ice cream.

According to the employee, she still was engaging with them when one of the suspects produced a firearm and pointed it at her.

The victim was forced at gunpoint to open the till.

The suspects took handbags, cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money from the store and fled in a white Toyota Quantum and a black Toyota Corolla, which had no number plates.
