A 60-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Chamdor when he got caught in the middle of a shooting between a security guard and an armed gang.
On Tuesday (13 May) a shooting ensued when a four-man gang bombarded a security guard, demanding his gun.
“The men attempted to flee the scene with his firearm but the guard took out a second gun and fired at the gang,” says Kagiso police spokesperson Lieutenant Katlego Mogale.
The man was walking in the street when he stepped right into the line of fire.
Paramedics found him in a serious state and transported him to hospital for urgent care.
