Nedbank rolls out Branch of the Future in Mogale
Nedbank plans to extend its ‘Branch of the Future’ roll out to over 70 per cent of its branch network in the next three years.
As part of its commitment to making banking more accessible to all in South Africa, Nedbank adds Mogale City to its Branch of the Future with the launch of the new Nedbank Cradlestone Mall branch on 15 May.
The Branch of the Future concept offers state-of-the-art technology to its personal and business banking clients.
“We are delighted to bring the ‘Branch of the Future’ concept to the local and business community of Mogale City in keeping with client needs – to make the branch experience easy, quick and efficient,” says Dave Schwegmann, Managing Executive of Branch Network at Nedbank.
Schwegmann points out that clients are looking to do banking in a unique, convenient environment where all their needs are met.
Some of the key features at the branch include:
• A fully digital Kids Zone – allowing parents to do their banking while their kids are engaged in reading material at the Kids Zone
• A Self-service Zone open until midnight
• A dedicated Edu Zone designed to deliver presentations and workshops to educate clients about banking services and financial fitness
• Wi-Fi internet stations
• iPads for client convenience while they wait for various services
• A video banking facility – the first of its kind in South Africa – for face-to-face interactions with client service agents
• The Intelligent Depositor ATM that has been enhanced significantly following its launch in 2012 to allow for deposits by non-Nedbank clients. An additional 500 devices are planned over the next three to five years
• True to its commitment to sustainability, the furniture and décor elements were created from recyclable material
