Bloody body found at taxi rank

The battered body of man in his late twenties was found at the Luipaardsvlei taxi rank in the early hours of Sunday morning (1 June).

According to Krugersdorp Police spokesperson Tshepiso Mashale police were called to the scene at approximately 6am following the discovery by a commuter.

Mashale adds that the man was stripped of his clothes and covered in blood.

“There were visible head injuries and bruising, therefore police are investigating a case of homicide,” she says.

The victim has been identified by family members and no arrests have been made.
