Flash mob for Madiba Day

People gathered to dance for Madiba Day.

Hundreds of people flocked to Kloofzicht Lodge in Muldersdrift on Madiba Day to join a flash mob dance and exercise experience for 67 minutes.

Each minute of the dance symbolised a year that Madiba spent in public service.

Professional choreographer Carlo McFarlane along with fitness experts, DJs, celebrities and special guests took 100 to 500 participants through a sequence of high energy, simple and dynamic dance and exercise routines, which all culminate in a 6,07 minute flash mob dance in honor of Nelson Mandela.

Those who took part paid a small fee and proceeds went towards The 4Change Foundation.

4Change extracts and harnesses talent and leadership potential through unearthing the solutions that rest on the inside of individuals in order to prevail over problems within their immediate environment, hence assisting in addressing societal issues at large.

“4Change believes that change within a given society and ultimately global change starts with the individual.

By developing one person at a time, these champions within the community will be able to influence the society around them.

It is the process of investing in an individual and putting the required tools into their hands that ultimately will allow them to change the world around them,” says 4Change Foundation Director Carlo McFarlane.
