
Three men were arrested in the Krugersdorp CBD after they allegedly attempted to break into a car.
The incidence was picked up by a business owner on his CCTV cameras as it happened on Thursday (31 July).
According to Krugersdorp SAPS spokesperson Tshepiso Mashale the business owner contacted the police who rushed to the scene.
“On their arrival police caught the suspects, searched them and found implements in their possession allegedly used in previous car-breakings in Krugersdorp,” says Mashale.
The three men were arrested for attempted theft of motor vehicles and possession of car-breaking implements, and will appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court.
Motorists are urged to lock their cars properly, close all the windows and not leave valuable items on the seats of their cars.
