The entertainment line-up at Silverstar for September promises to keep everyone in the family entertained.

South Africa’s darling Juanita du Plessis will return to the Silverstar stage for two nights on 18 and 19 September. Born in Namibia and known for her hit single Ska-Rumba, Juanita is sure to set the stage on fire with her greatest hits. Her singing career began in 1988 with her debut album Juanita that won her the CMA (Country Music Association in Namibia) awards as best singer, best songwriter and the Association’s award for outstanding achievement. Tickets cost R150 per person.

Ending off the month of spring is Dowwa Dolla performing on 24 September. Still interested in understanding why we should be paying tax? Then be sure to join the ditzy blonde who will share her deep, albeit erroneous, understanding of tax in her show Betaal Belasting.

Do you want to know why we still pay tax? Dowwe Dolla has the answers in her new show at Silverstar Casino.

Dowwe Dolla takes the audience on a roller-coaster ride that threatens to derail because tax, as with whiskey, does not have brakes.

The economy is tough and in order to save money Dolla decides to do her own tax return this year.

This turns out to be complicated and nerve-racking exercise and she decides to seek advice from experts in this field such as Kenny Kunene, Arthur Brown and her cousin Kotie’s consultant ‘Rashid van die Vlakte’.

Tickets for her show cost R125 per person.

The shows start at 8pm with doors opening at 7pm. To book your ticket visit www.silverstarcasino.co.za.
