Ward 13 residents invited to register for free basic services

Qualifying households have a three-day window to submit mandatory documentation for municipal assistance.

Qualifying Ward 13 residents can register for free basic services when the municipal indigent management unit conducts ward-based registration from October 7 to 9.

Refilwe Mahlangu, the assistant manager for Media and PR at Mogale City Local Municipality (MCLM), said the registration aims to assist qualifying residents.

Registration takes place at the Evangelical Reformed Church on 13217 Seretshe Kgama Street between 09:00 and 14:00 daily.

Mahlangu said applicants must provide mandatory documents, including certified copies of their ID, proof of income, their latest three months’ bank statements, and current municipal statements.

She added that supporting documents, such as a letter of authority or executorship, marriage certificate, divorce decree, or death certificate, are required for applicants who are not property owners.
