A Chamdor business owner received an anonymous call from the community informing him that his premises had been broken into.
The owner rushed to his business and found that someone had gained entry through a damaged glass door.
Kagiso Police spokesperson Solomon Sibiya says the man went to the workshop area where he noticed the suspect.
“He phoned the police who responded quickly and the suspect was arrested and detained.”
Sibiya says that nothing was found in the suspect’s possession.
A case docket of business burglary was opened at the Kagiso Police Station. The suspect already made a brief appearance in the Kagiso Magistrates’ Court.
