
The Muldersdrift Police managed to arrest 141 suspects over one weekend.
According to Muldersdrift Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya, the suspects were arrested over the weekend of 1 to 3 August for various crimes.
The crimes ranged from serious offences such as armed robbery, rape, murder and housebreaking to less serious offences like illegal immigration, dealing in liquor without a licence, possession of stolen goods and other liquor-related offences.
The acting cluster commander Brigadier Patricia Rampota indicates that the successes are due to the perseverance and dedication of members in the cluster.
She expressed her satisfaction with the positive actions against crimes in the cluster.
