Long-serving officers awarded

Officers were awarded for serving the organisation for 20 years and more.

Krugersdorp SAPS management recognised their longest-serving officers at a ceremonial medal parade recently.

Medals were handed to men and women in blue who have been serving the community for 20 years and more.

“The officers from the rank of sergeant to lieutenant-colonel received their medals with great pride,” says police spokesperson Tshepsio Mashale.

“They served the SAPS with dedication and pride, and their hard work finally was honoured in the presence of other members at the station,” she says.

Station Commander Brigadier Dalipkumar Baijnath thanked the members for serving the organisation and community with pride, and encouraged them to continue to be an example to junior officers.

“Well done to the members; may they continue to serve the Krugersdorp community with passion and dedication,” concludes Mashale.
