No load shedding – for now
Eskom says their network is currently stable.

Krugersdorp residents can relax because Eskom is not planning any load shedding for the rest of the week.
This means that residents can forget about the preliminary load shedding schedule and not worry about the electricity going off.
Lebogang Molokomme from Eskom’s Corporate Affairs Department says the only time they will be implementing load shedding is when their network is under pressure.
“But for now everything is under control for the time being.”
If load shedding commences they will inform residents via various media channels.
Eskom implemented load shedding last week Friday 21 November after experiencing pressure on its network.
At the beginning of the month a coal silo at the Majuba Power Station in Mpumalanga collapsed, contributing to the power utility’s distribution woes.
Last week trade union Solidarity warned that another silo is showing signs of deterioration at the Majuba Power Station. The latter remains the newest and largest power plant in the country until such time as construction work at the Medupi and Kusile Power Stations – that has been suffering numerous delays – eventually is completed.
