Christmas saved from chaos by local CPF

An angry group of employees nearly broke down the gates of their employer's house on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve almost was spoiled by a group of angry Munsieville residents who caused havoc in a quiet suburban street.

The group made themselves comfortable on the pavement of the house in which their employer lives before attempting to gain access to the house.

Loud noises were heard along the street as the group attempted to open the gates to the property.

Community Policing Forum (CPF) members from Sector 3 arrived to try and calm down the group. The CPF members alerted the Krugersdorp Police who sent out a reaction vehicle to the address.

When the owner of the house, who is a Nigerian national, arrived at the scene, things got heated as the group demanded their outstanding pay.

He along with his two bodyguards presented a copy of what looked like a proof of payment to the group.

The officer on scene managed to calm the group and threatened to arrest them should they continue with the disruption. He asked them to leave.

The group then backed off and reluctantly started to leave the scene.
