Police and the community sweats it out
They were encouraged to take part in sports regularly to reducing high blood pressure and other types of diseases.
It was a day away from fighting crime for the police to relieve job-related stress.
About 70 members of the Muldersdrift community joined the Krugersdorp Cluster Aerobic Team at Glenburn Lodge to celebrate National Police Day on Wednesday 4 February through sport and fitness.
Hitler Ngwenya said the police encouraged the community to participate in sports regularly to reduce high blood pressure and other types of diseases.
Glenburn Lodge sponsored the event and provided water and bananas to keep the energy levels sustained.
Colonel David Seabi, station commander of the Muldersdrift Police said he appreciates the partnership between the police and the community. He encouraged them to continue taking part in sport and to keep providing the police with information when crime is committed.
