Three injured in Robert Broom accident

Robert Broom Drive, close to the private school, was closed off after a head on collision on 2 May.

Although the cause of the accident is still unknown, it is believed two women were left critically injured and trapped in a badly smashed vehicle.

A third woman sustained moderate injuries.

Medical personnel such as ER24, Netcare911 and Krugersdorp EMS (Emergency Service Management) responded to the call out where the jaws of life had to be used to free the two women.

Social media reports on Facebook state that one of the victims had passed away since the accident.
