Are these stolen goods your?

Stolen or pawned goods were found including photo albums of families not matching the foreign nationals' passport photos.

During clean-up operations in the streets of Krugersdorp, members of the police, the local Community Policing Forum (CPF) and other stakeholders found stolen goods on the premises of an alleged brothel.

In one of the outside rooms they not only found items that commonly are traded for drugs but also items that appeared to have been stolen.

In the tidy room with empty cigarette boxes and alcohol bottles were 10 Garmin GPS modems, sim cards, memory cards and other electronic devices.

An alarming number of knives also were found in the room along with computer hard drives and a pipe half filled with dagga.

Among the goods, CPF members also found banknotes from Nigeria, Botswana and other currencies, along with foreign passports.

Copies of CDs and DVDs by the hundreds were in the room as well.

The most shocking discovery was albums with family photos, which did not match the passports – probably stolen from households around the area.

This is just more proof of the illegal activities on these drug-infested properties.
