A 24-year-old male was arrested by Hekpoort police earlier this month for being in possession of suspected stole goods.
The arresting officer alleges that while he was patrolling along Bekker Road in Hekpoort, he noticed the suspicious looking male.
The male was riding a bicycle and carrying a suspicious looking bag.
“Constable Phosa stopped the man and requested to search the bag. During the search, the officer found computer speakers, a dynamic microphone, cutlery, and numerous other items,” Hekpoort’s Communication and Liaison officer, Constable Gloria Maswanganye, said
“The suspect failed to prove the items belonged to him and he could not provide any valid reason for these goods in his bag. Constable Phosa arrested the suspect.”
He is detained in the Krugersdorp cells and has already appeared in court.
