Never too young to make a difference

This young charity worker put a smile on other children's faces.

Missy Little Citizen Academy, AJ van Loggerenberg, 4, brings joy to other children, sometimes even older than her.

Her passion and enthusiasm to make a difference shone through this past weekend when she and Naomi Ministries put smiles on underprivileged children’s faces in Appel Park.

AJ arranged for 300 gift packets to be handed out on behalf of the school.

“We thank our many sponsors such as Manny Jardim, Veronica Scott Rigney from Monkeynastix, Jason from Rugga Kids and Magderi Marais from RNF dance studio,” Melissa Nieuwoudt, Little Citizen Academy principal said.

Hot dogs, cold drinks and soup were donated by Charmaine Tome at Naomi Ministries and her team.

Riaan Prinsloo, the happy clown, brought great entertainment for the children.

AJ’s mother, Tammy van Loggerenberg stated how important charity work is and said she will continue to motivate her daughter to pursue her dreams of giving a helping hand.

Melissa and Yolanda van Zyl, owner of Little Citizen Academy School, said they are proud of little AJ as she does such amazing work with the support of her friends.
