The brave little cancer fighter, 19-month-old Sloane, sadly passed away.
After 19 months of bringing joy to his parents, little Sloane Lindique-Brown, who had a rare form of cancer, sadly passed away yesterday afternoon (13 October).
A family member contacted the News about his unfortunate passing.
“After a strenuous six hour operation on the tumor in Sloane’s brain, the doctors tried to wake him him up from the anesthetic, but his heart gave in,” she said.

According to the family member, Sloane’s doctors tried to resuscitate him for an hour, but his little heart had failed.
The News initially reported on Sloane’s fight on 14 August and had the honour of meeting the little boy.
