Alleged con-woman drives away without paying

Client 'nails' a free treatment after speeding off without paying.

A salon owner of Monument feels the need to warn other businesses in the area of a woman who simply does not pay for services rendered.

The woman went to Amore La Vie, situated on Voortrekker Road on 9 October where she booked a nail treatment to the value of R360 for herself.

During the treatment, the client hinted subtly about the payment and gave the nail technician various excuses before driving off without paying.

The client first told the technician that her husband left her an envelope with money in at home.

Later she kept telling the technician that she does not have a card with her that she can swipe.

And finally the client went to her vehicle parked outside to check if she has any money in the car.

Suddenly the technician saw the client quickly speeding off from the salon parking lot never to return again.

The News has received word that this client has pulled similar tricks of this sort at other salons in Krugersdorp before.
