Hekpoort police arrested a suspect following a complaint of theft of liquor at a local lodge.
A 38-year-old suspect was arrested at the Rustig Lodge.
The complainant alleges he received the complaint from the lodge, that liquor was stolen.
“The complainant phoned the police, telling them he received information regarding the theft. Police rushed to the suspect’s place and found the suspect and the liquor. Police arrested the suspect who has already appeared in court,” Hekpoort police spokesperson, constable Gloria Maswanganye, said.
