Neighbour stops thieving men in their tracks
Suspects caught on camera attempting to steal property from a home owner in Krugersdorp West.
Krugersdorp police and members of Sector 5 Community Policing Forum (CPF) rushed to a house in Karl Street, Krugersdorp West, after a neighbour caught three young men in a criminal act.
The three men, who broke open the gate to the property to gain access to the yard, were caught red-handed carrying corrugated iron plates to the front of the yard by a vigilant neighbour.
She reacted quickly by shouting at them and asking them what they were doing.
The three men then quickly dropped the plates and made a run for it.
The CPF 5 patrollers arrived on the scene minutes later following an urgent call out, followed by local police.
After the owner of the house viewed his CCTV footage at his property he noticed the three males also tried to gain access to his house but fortunately failed.
It is believed the three men are known in the Krugersdorp West community and that two of three are wanted by police for similar crimes committed.
