Three robbers were stopped in their tracks and apprehended after attempting to flee by foot.
Sector 8 CPF members along with a Dowry reaction unit, EPR and Apcan gave chase after two suspects broke into a property in Akker Street, Breaunanda, late yesterday (8 November) afternoon.
This follows after a neighbour saw three suspects breaking into the property and called for back up on his two way CPF radio.
Patrollers and the reaction units immediately gave chase and followed two of the three suspects who crossed the railway line into Witpoortjie.
Two of the suspects were apprehended and arrested on Main Reef Road.

CPF has reason to believe the suspects were fleeing towards the Princess informal settlement and to Westgate Shopping Center.
Patrollers were called back to the property in Akker Street where an injured suspect was spotted attempting to escape by jumping a wall.
The suspect was stopped in his tracks by the swift reaction of the patrollers.
All three suspects were handed over to the Krugersdorp police and the stolen goods were recovered and returned to the owners.
