Robbers flee with TLB vehicle
Two robbers fled the scene of a crime with a construction vehicle.
Five suspects targeted a construction site and fled to Hartbeespoort with numerous goods and a TLB construction vehicle.
Five unknown males approached a construction worker on a site situated in Sterfontein Road to ask for water, late on the afternoon of 13 November.
The suspects allegedly pointed a firearm at the complainant after he refused.
“Two of the suspects grabbed him and started searching him. They took his cell phone, keys to the vehicle and the site caravan and cash after which they pushed him into the caravan, tied up his hands and fled with a white Toyota Hilux and a construction vehicle,” Krugersdorp Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.
Two of the suspects were arrested later that evening in Hartbeespoort for being in possession of the construction vehicle.
The duo is set to appear in court facing charges of theft and business robbery.
