Africa’s biggest comedy festival at Silverstar

Funny, fearless and original, the festival is an annual comedy extravaganza.

With tickets for the Comedy Central International Comedy Festival selling like hot cakes, Comedy Central (DStv channel 122) has added another date for the Trevor Noah NationWild Gala.

Evert van der Veer, head of Comedy Central Africa said demand for tickets to Trevor’s upcoming gigs has been overwhelming, as everyone wants to see South Africa’s own global comedy star during his first appearances in SA since taking over the helm of The Daily Show.

“In response to the overwhelming public demand, Trevor’s NationWild Gala will now take place on 25, 26, 27 and 28 November, with the Festival extending from 25 November to 5 December.”

Africa’s biggest comedy festival now encompasses 19 comedy gigs over six days with more than 60 comedians across multiple venues at Silverstar.

Other comedians at the festival include Aries Spears, Basketmouth, Cape Town Comedy Club featuring Kurt Schoonraad, Carl Joshua Ncube, Casper de Vries, Celeste Ntuli, Chris Forrest, Churchill, Darren Whackhead Simpson, David Kau, Deep Fried Man, Devin Gray, Dillan Oliphant, Ebenhaezer Dibakwane, Eugene Khoza, Gavin Kelly, Goliath & Goliath, Griffy 2Trillion, Hannes Brümmer, Hannibal Buress, Jay Boogie, Jeff Ross, John Vlismas, Khanyisa Bunu, Lungelo Ndlovu, Marc Lottering, Martin Evans, Melt Sieberhagen, Mo Magic, Mo Mothebe, Mojak Lehoko, Mpho Popps, Nina Hastie, Prins, Robby Collins, Richelieu Beaunoir, Salvado, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Simmi Areff, Skhumba Hlophe, Smowkey Nyembe, Snooze, Tats Nkonzo, Tracy Klaas, Trevor Gumbi and Yaaseen Barnes.
