Close to the ‘weekend robot’ intersection on Voortrekker Road, three vehicles held up traffic after a collision between them.
Emergency services responded to the accident on Saturday (28 November) afternoon and took those that were involved to hospital. Yet no serious injuries were reported.
Sector 8’s Community Policing Forum members helped divert traffic as police officers investigated the scene.
It is not yet clear what caused the accident, but all three vehicles were piled up after the impact.
The accident is part of the many reported over the weekend in various parts of the West Rand.
