Former Coronation informal settlers enjoy early Christmas
The residents were treated to great day of fun, all in the spirit of Christmas.
Residents of Munsieville’s informal settlement were treated with an early Christmas party.
As part of reaching out the vulnerable this festive season, a company from Pretoria hosted an early Christmas party at the end of November for the residents who formerly lived at the Coronation Caravan Park.
The Christmas party was held at the Bob van Reenen Stadium where hundreds of residents came together for good food, music and some cake afterwards.
Residents were seen sitting on the grass as others took the opportunity to dance while children played.
The children went ecstatic when Father Christmas arrived at the stadium.
In a crowd the children patiently and excitingly waited for him to start handing out presents to each child.
The Christmas party ended on a high note as residents enjoyed sweets and treats along with cake galore.
