SAPS visit local creche for a Christmas treat
Members of the SAPS took a break from crime fighting to give back to the community.
Members of the Krugersdorp SAPS took some time off from crime fighting to reach out to the community.
A few members decided to donated some funds they raised among themselves to a needy creche in Jabulane Street in Munsieville.
It is an annual tradition for the members of the police to contribute an amount and help those who are less fortunate and in need during the festive season.
Upon their visit to the creche last month, members took along items such as rice, macaroni, maize meal, and potty toilets for the babies.
The spoiling did not stop there as each child received delicious treats.
The children thanked the police by performing a special song and dance.
“We were informed that the creche was mostly in need of food to cook for the children daily, which inspired us to buy them these items,” Krugesdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.
