Sihle Mdlalose gave birth to her baby boy Simphiwe at 8.45pm on New Year's Day at Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital.
Sixteen bundles of joy were born yesterday, 1 January at two hospitals in Krugersdorp.
Three babies were welcomed into the world at Netcare Krugersdorp Hospital while 13 babies were born at Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital.
The first to arrive at Netcare Krugersdorp was baby boy Karabelo who was born at 8.23am to mother Mokulubete Makhetha.
Proud mom Mokulubete Makhetha welcomed her bouncing baby boy Karabelo at 8.23am.
Elmare White gave birth to her bouncing baby boy Joshua at 9.30am weighing 2,575kg.
At Yusuf Dadoo Gomelemo Leeuw gave birth to her baby girl, Tshimologo at 10.30am. More babies soon followed shortly after.
