Treated like queens for the day

Police women gave back to the community by treated local female community members and workers.

Krugersdorp police recently hosted a Community Work Program event for the women of Munsieville and Krugersdorp.

The event, held at the Krugersdorp Barracks, motivated the women to express their confidence.

“The women were told that they must never feel inferior. Even cleaners play a vital part in the world and they must never look down on themselves,” Krugersdorp Police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale said.

They were motivated to keep on uplifting their communities.

They were also treated to a special lunch and showered with beautiful gifts along with appreciation certificates which were handed over to each woman.

“They were very happy to be treated like queens.”

This function was made possible by the Krugersdorp police who wanted to give back to the community.

“The women expressed their appreciation towards the Women’s Network champion, Colonel Jojisa and everyone involved for giving them some hope. They undertook to continue to do their work with pride and joy. They were singing songs of praise to expressed their joy,” Mashale concluded.
