School breaks ground for high school

Watch this space – Curro has laid the foundation for their new high school.

A sod-turning ceremony at Curro School has set the foundation for the construction of the high school, earmarked to open next year.

Curro’s 74 Grade 8 pupils can hardly wait to see their new high school, which is set to be completed by January 2017.

“This six-stream school with its excellent facilities and 21st century approach to education will foster a learning environment where future leaders can be educated. Curro firmly believes in an holistic approach and that sport and culture build character,” Curro Krugersdorp Executive Head, Annemarie Lombard said.

Pupils at Curro can also look forward to an astro hockey field which will be included in the new development.

The school invites Grade 8 and 9 pupils and their parents to contact the primary school or to attend any of the Thursday morning information sessions conducted by the Executive Head.
