Local photographer top three finalist in this year’s Wedding Awards

Local photographer Amor Bezuidenhout, the owner of Biamor Photography, is a finalist in this year’s TopVendor Wedding Awards.

TopVendor is a national awards platform that brings together the best of South Africa’s wedding industry, that believes in recognising, rewarding and showcasing excellent work.

During April and May, the public, brides and the wedding industry voted for the work of the TopVendor participants. In the attribute section of the awards, participants could enter a specific aspect of their businesses in which they excel. This gave them an opportunity to showcase their latest and greatest work. In this section, people voted on what they saw, rather than for who produced it. The top three finalists (top 3) went through to the next round, where the judges scored their work and chose the winner.

On 4 July, there will be another round of voting. The public will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite vendor based on his or her entire work portfolio. The important thing here is the industry’s and the public’s opinion of the work and business of the vendors, and their clients’ experience of the service they provide. The organisers of the competition believe that if you have delivered an excellent service and have many happy clients, they will naturally vote for you and support you.

Amor describe the setting of the portfolio she entered:

“As the sun set over the moss-grown forest of Oakfield Farm, our vision of the autumn-styled shoot came to life. And how vibrant, dreamy and gorgeous it was! The table’s elements truly inspired the shoot, with wooden and rustic textures mixed with modern elements forming an enchanting scene. Set in a magical forest, the imagery tells a love story straight out of a fairy tale,” Amor said.

Amor mentioned that the colour palette consisted of berry and golden tones, perfectly contrasted against the rich greens of nature to give it that woodland twist, while the beautiful light elements brought in some romance.

There are amazing prizes up for grabs when voting for the 2016 participants.

Biamor is also participating in the Top Wedding Photography category.
