Local soccer supporters club gives to orphanage

”I am very delighted today that my prayers were finally answered.”

The Mogale City Orlando Pirates Supporters Club recently visited Thokomala Orphanage, and gave them some much needed winter essentials.

The orphanage, run in the home of Mrs Malatjie in Kagiso, received clothes, food and shoes, among other items, and the children were absolutely delighted.

Tshepo Mahatlhane, chairperson of the Mogale City branch said that this project is the first to be undertaken by a football supporters club. It will be extended to other orphans around the township, and would also include all members of the community – not only Pirates members.
