Pray for baby Micealla

Four-month-old Micealla is fighting meningitis and pneumonia in hospital.

The community of Krugersdorp is asked to open their hearts and pray for baby Micealla Gauche.

Following a visit to a local general practitioner, little Micealla, a four-month-old premature baby weighing only 2,1kg, was rushed to the Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital on 2 July with meningitis and pneumonia.

Micealla subsequently was transferred to Leratong Hospital where she is currently in a incubator and receiving treatment in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Prayer messages by concerned family and friends urging the community to keep the little miracle baby in their thoughts and prayers have been making the rounds on Facebook.

According to a family member, Mushka Heymans, Micealla is much better since being admitted to Leratong.

She is undergoing various tests to determine how her little body has been affected as she was born with a heart defect.

Unfortunately the family does not have a medical aid, hence she was taken to a state hospital for treatment.

If anyone would like to reach out to the family, contact Mushka on 073 371 4850.
