And the winner is…

The sky was the limit in our International Camera Day competition.

After much deliberation, the News is excited to announce Kevin Hopper as the winner of our International Camera Day photo competition.

The News gave its readers the chance to have their photo feature in the newspaper. All that needed to be done was for readers to take the best photo of Krugersdorp, follow the News on Instagram (@krugersdorpnews) and tag or mention the News in their best Krugersdorp-inspired photo.

In late 2001, an opportunity arose for Kevin to start his own business, Skyworx Aviation, at the Jack Taylor Airfield in Krugersdorp, where the picture was taken.

This picture is of a Chipmunk that they started restoring in November 2015. The day this picture was taken was the day they finished the restoration and delivered the plane to the client.

Congratulations, Kevin!
