Truck and taxi collide at infamous intersection

Nine people were injured after the taxi they were travelling in collided with a truck at the R28 and N14 split in Pinehaven this morning.

ER24 Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the taxi on the side of the island, and the large truck that was involved, parked in the emergency lane.

Nine of the taxi’s occupants sustained minor to moderate injuries, and were transferred to hospital for further treatment.

The details surrounding the cause of the collision are not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
