Burst pipe reason for no water

Some residents still do not have water despite reports saying the situation has been resolved.

The News is aware of the water situation in Rant-en-Dal and Krugersdorp North.

Comments on the Facebook page Krugersdorp Community Network states that a burst pipe in Rant-en-Dal is the reason for many residents’ frustration.

Mogale City’s Municipal Spokesperson, Nkosana Zali, told the News when he was contacted for information, that he is also waiting for feedback regarding the situation.

Further comments on Facebook indicated that the pipe had been fixed last night, but as of this morning, residents in Rant-en-Dal still do not have water while residents in Krugersdorp North seem to only have very little.

Once more details become available, a follow up report will be published.
