• Make sure that you store potatoes in a dark, cool, dry, well-ventilated area.

• Keep potatoes separate from onions, as onions release ethylene gas, which can cause potatoes to sprout prematurely.

• Don’t refrigerate potatoes because the starch will convert to sugar and the potato will be glassy with a sweet taste.
