Help the nerds fill their Beetles
Nerds on Site wish to fill their Beetle's in aid of Hope.
Nerds on Site, an international IT service company based on an independent contractor model, decided to fill their cheeky red Beetles to bring Hope. Their project was inspired by the success other Nerds on Site offices abroad have had with their annual food drive called Fill the Beetle.
The company wishes to provided food to the children of Tjokkertjies for Jesus, a pre-primary school established by The Cradle of Hope, a ministry focusing on assisting women and children in desperate need.
The school provides 52 less fortunate and vulnerable children with warm, healthy, cooked meals on a daily basis.
“The nerds decided on this project to get the community involved and give back to the community,” said Jaco Coetsee from Nerds on Site.
The nerds are encouraging the community to help fill their Beetles with non-perishable food and treats such as bread, spreads, margarine, pasta, rice, canned food, cooking oil, sugar, milk, fruit juice, canned fruit and veggies.
This event will be hosted at Pick n Pay Princess Crossing on 6 August.
